Writing Celebration

We have been so busy learning new things that I have not taken the opportunity to blog some of the exciting things that we have done.  A couple weeks ago, we had our first writing celebration. The kids really enjoyed "fancying-up" their writing in preparation for our big celebration.  Each student got to share a part of their story and read it aloud to the class.  At the end, we celebrated with a toast... fake, of course :)... but they just loved that!  It's so fun to feel like real authors and celebrate all of our hard work with our friends.

We Love our Families!

This week we talked a lot of families. We compared our families and discussed family rules. It was so fun to hear them talk about all of their family members with their friends during small group. Check out the video!
