How to Catch a Leprechaun...

We had fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day. We made hats, practiced math, did some writing prompts, and even devised some plans on how to catch a leprechaun!  Here are some of our awesome strategies...

"First, I will catch it in it's own hat. Next, I will trap it in a pickle jar. Last, I will chase it so he goes away!" - Chase

"First, I would put it in a bucket but he would escape. Next, I would put him in my baby's tub, but he would escape. Last, I would trap him in my room. That would work!" - Alejandro

"First, I would hide behind a tree. Next, I would grab a net. Last, I would pick him up with the net!" - Peri

"First, I would help it. Next, it would sleep. Then, I would grab it and put it in a jar." - Sidney

"First, I would sneak up to him. Next, I would go even closer and closer. Last, I get him and jump on him too." - Slayden

"First, I will go underneath the rainbow. Next, I would put a net over him so he couldn't go. Last, I would take him home and say he looks like a snowman outside!" - Zoe E.

"First, I would try to hit him with a car. Next, I would try to catch him with a fishing pole. Last, I would give him fake gold!" - Easton

Cat in the Hat

Today we got to visit with the Cat in the Hat. We read Oh, the Thinks You Can Think and Green Eggs and Ham!

Book Parade!!

We had so much fun at the Book Parade yesterday! It was so much fun to enjoy a healthy snack and read after it was finished. Thank you to everyone who came to read with us!
